Nodding away to: With Or Without You - U2Ponder Over Yonder: What if everyone in the world has a perfect life? What would the world be like?
Okay....Yesterday, Wednesday, 29th of August 2007, Arif, Lee Hua, Wan Ni and I went to Suntec City to get presents for Ms Lim and Mrs Raj. We left out the rest of the teachers mainly because we were tight on cash. Anyway, Arif, Lee Hua and I went there by motorbikes (I was riding pillion with Lee Hua which is super fun by the way) and all the way there Lee Hua kept complaining that I was heavy and straining his motorbike *rolls eyes*. Its the first time I'm on a motorbike so when I first put on the helmet (Lee Hua helped...too complicated for me) and got on the bike I was like "WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!". Yeah...when we reached the main road, this stupid car in front suddenly jammed his brakes so Lee Hua had to the the same and I wasn't paying attention so I sort of got thrown onto Lee Hua's back. Arif came up beside us and Lee Hua complained to him about me being jelly - like. Or rather in his words "Wa lau...Don't gay la...Have some resistance can or not?". So the rest of the way I was resistive. So damn fun with the wind in my face and Arif purposely skidding towards a traffic light with his Vespa. The burnt rubber stank like crap.
When we reached Suntec, Lee Hua got hungry (as usual) and we stopped by at Carl's Junior to stuff himself. I was bored so I gave critical comments in the card they provided. Somehow that made Arif hungry too but he refused to eat there. "Expensive sia...the food also not that much.." was what he said. So, second pit stop at Burger King for Arif's turn to stuff himself. It was there where I realised there weren't any hot girls. I was then given a lecture on why hot girls don't go to the basements of shopping malls. After Burger King we went out to street level to accompany Lee Hua for his daily dose of lung cancer. Wan Ni came just as he was finishing up his dose and we started looking around.
Long story, a lot of hoo - has and we finally settled on a very very nice white strapped, white body, gold bordered, Adidas sports watch. Arif was spokesman and he brought the price down from $118 to $110. Pei Ying wanted to chip in but she wasn't there so we divided it between 5 people. We walked some more until I felt guilty about not getting Mrs Raj a present so we picked up a cushion shaped like a book at More Than Words which costed $19.95.
We made a lot of noise in Carrefour and then decided to go waste some money at the arcade. Lost to Lee Hua in Outrun 2 because of some dumb mistake I made =.=. Anyway, Wan Ni's boyfriend drove up and met her for dinner or something. We guys were tired from shopping so we got back on the bikes and headed home. A bit of racing along this empty stretch of road was entertaining. Hahahaha...
Today, Thursday, 30th August 2007, woke up early early to tag with my mum to her office for a job interview and the people there are really nice. So happy to get a job...watch out ladies...the money's rolling in for me now...hahahahaha...I start Monday as a general work/admin assistant. Woooooo!!
Tomorrow we'll be visiting the teachers at BHSS and Lee Hua and I will be waking up early to hop on his bike and have breakfast in the canteen. God...I miss the breakfast there....hahaha....
Okay...I'll go off for now...I'm watching Friends Season 3 now...weeeeeeeee!!!
