Its been a long week for me...On Tuesday, I finally bought my car and I've spent the whole week until Friday assembling it, piece by piece, part by part. Its about 99% ready to rumble, save for a few tweaks here and there which I'll let my seniors sort out next Tuesday. While I was assembling, I kept getting this deja vu of me being back in Primary school and I've locked myself in my room, far away from my parents and I'm happily tinkering at my Tamiya 4WD cars. I still have my box of Tamiya stuff which I keep in excellent condition. Vintage stuff. Extremely sentimental to me as well.As I'm typing, I'm waiting for my new table from Ikea which is supposed to be delivered today at 11am. Delivery guys are late as usual. The minute the table is here I'm going to set it up and move all my stuff back. Wooooooooooo!!! I've been getting really cramped at my old table with my laptop, books and everything.
Later on at around 6 I'm going off for a family reunion dinner. To be honest, I don't see anything to reunite. I don't talk to most of my cousins except during large family occasions. And there's nothing to talk about. I'm 18 and in poly and most of them are working and married.
I'll be getting my pay on Tuesday!! Around $200 and I'll be getting my Zen with that. Finally. Its been killing me without an mp3 player. All the lonely walks and bus rides to and from school. 8Gb of music and 30hours of playback time is more than enough for me. Looking forward!!
Here's a rumour to either faint or laugh at: Its rumoured that Kevin got 8 points for his L1R4. According to the two goons Hanafie and Jeronne who seem to be forever idolising 'smart' people. Here's the story: Jeronne called Kevin to ask him about his results. Jeronne said that Kevin told him that he was busy, but after much pestering, Kevin said '24 points'. Then Hanafie called Kevin to ask him exactly the same thing. This time Hanafie said Kevin told him '14 points'. Then Jeronne called Kevin AGAIN and this time Kevin said '8 points'. And this time round Kevin gave a detailed list of his results which included an A1 for English and A2 for Maths. When Jeronne asked why such a big difference in points, Kevin said 'I counted wrongly.'
Really? Received results last Thursday, achieved an A2 for Maths, and when asked 2 days ago he could have 'counted wrongly'? I don't think even people who have failed their Maths would have wrongly counted something as important as their O Level points.
Start wondering about the all-time controversial Kevin Shoff.
