I'm getting fat, and gaining weight. Thats not good. I swear I can visibly see my waistline gain like one or two inches. Even Hazzy says I've gained weight. I don't want to be one of those fat laden people who waddle around and flap their weak arms. I gotta work out and lose the blubber.Anyway, first driving lesson was pretty fun. Was a bit nervous at first....kept stalling the engine whenever I concentrated too much on the clutch..I tried to relax and we were moving so smoothly that even a baby wouldn't wake up. There was this student in front of us. Either he/she has totally no talent in driving or he/she is just plain retarded. He/she kept making sharp/wide turns and every time the car had to stop, he/she always took like a few minutes just to move off again. Anyway, two hours in one lesson and I got fast forwarded through the basics which means I can jump to 3rd gear lessons which are conducted on public roads. Not bad, going out onto public roads by the second lesson.
During the holidays I'll be going for two lessons per week and I'll hopefully get my license by end of June or early August.

Went out for a short while with Lee Hua and some of his cell group people for a drink at a coffee shop near Paya Lebar before we split up at the MRT station; Lee Hua and his friend went off to church at Expo and one of their friends went with me towards City Hall.Interestingly enough, while waiting for the train, I saw what looked like this cute girl working for ASUS during the IT show. Sadly she was under a different company. As usual I had no guts to go up to her and say hi.
Anyway, the other guy went off to City Hall while I transferred trains to Somerset where I got off and walked to Heeren and bought myself a pair of Converse sneakers. Nothing too loud or stylish; I went for something nice and simple and here it is:
Tadah!! Say hi to Converse All Star Sneaker Model No. 1W884

Cost me $56. Not too bad I guess. I'll be waiting for someone to get me out of the house so I can show off my new shoes. Woooooooooooo!!

So I've got my results this morning...9.04am to be exact...I checked my phone, and without fail a single sms was waiting for me. Without even looking, I automatically pressed the buttons and the message opened up. AEL = D ;CATS = C+;EG1 = B;EG2 = D;ENGMECH = D;MTPRAC = B;MRCAD = D;SW = PX;.On the one hand I'm happy I managed to pass every module. On the other, my GPA is kinda crappy. I went online to check my GPA and it turned out to be 1.72. Hahahaha...guess I'll have to do better next semester. No more playing, no more gaming, no more stoning in class.
Going for Kiff's dance concert in a couple of hours. Waiting to pass Sam & KH their tickets before I wait for Xin Yi for her to come back from camp. Oh...and I bought Backstreet Boy's new album Unbreakable as well as The Eagles' Long Road Out Of Eden. Both decent albums...pretty good songs in their.
And I checked out the bike store and they have a new line of bikes going at $300. Perfectly within my budget...so I should get it pretty soon...within a couple of weeks. Looking forward to biking with people...and Hazzy said we're gonna bike up Bukit Timah and then race down without brakes.
Gotta go back to DOTA refresher course....have to show this big ego-ed fella in my class...once I trash him I'll never play DOTA again and focus on studies...

Okay....so the IT show is over, and I'm still feeling the side effects from work...Reach home by 11, do some stuff online, sleep by 12, and wake up at 9. That isn't enough sleep considering the amount of work I put in. On my feet from 11am to 10 pm is a killer. And out of every 10 customers only 1 will buy, while another 2 will give you false hope with that "I'll take a look around and come back later." Anyway, selling an average of 5 laptops per day is equivalent to one laptop every two hours. Laptops I sell below $2k, I earn $10, while laptops above $2k I earn $15. I think I only sold 2 laptops below $2k. Some of you may say I earned a lot, but if you compare me with 3 of the regulars, they can sell up to 15 in one day. Thats on a weekend of course. Anyway, if my pay cheque turns out to be $300+, I'll consider going back next time. If its over $400 I'll definitely go back. $100 per day isn't that bad. I hate those people who make you talk and talk and talk and then they tell you they're not buying. I mean if you're genuinely interested, you listen to my sales talk, and decide that this product isn't suited for you, I perfectly understand that. But some of these assholes can just stand there playing with the damn laptop and just let me ramble on and on while I could be talking to real customers. And there are also assholes who simply just ignore me when I give my most charming smile and salutation. They can stand there and look at the laptop, and when I ask if I can help, they just ignore me and continue reading the brochure. Then there's the auntie or uncle who's eye happens to be caught by the fancy gamer's laptop. They scurry over and marvel at it. Obviously they're looking for a laptop as a gift to their grandson or someone like that. But when I tell them the price is at $3048, they will firstly open their eyes wide in shock as if they were having a heart attack, then they screw up their eyes and shake the heads like a cat, as if I had just poked them and squirted lemon juice into their eyes.
Anyway, pay cheque won't be ready till about 3 weeks time. In the mean time I'll catch up on gaming and sleeping.

I went for mt first drift meet last night at Dover. Only a few guys and a kid was there. And they were really nice too...I had trouble with my gears and stuff and they helped me fix it up through out the whole thing. And their cars are like super awesome...Their body shells are really beautiful...Don't forget that when you first get the body shell, its completely uncut and transparent. You have to get a pair of really sharp scissors and follow the lines given to cut out the shaped of the body. Then you have spray paint the colour you want followed by all the decals and designs. For those who can afford it, they install headlights and brake lights as well...really cool...Here's a few photos of the super beautiful body shells:
First off my favourite car, the Mitsubishi Evo series:
Note: These are RC drift cars...NOT real cars, however real they look..
An Evo 7

An Evo 4

Another Evo 7

An Evo 6

Another Evo 6

Next we have the famous Jay Chou AE86 from Initial D:

And last but not least Lee Hua's favourite Mazda RX-7:

Now are those beautiful or what?
And here's a look at my crappy job with Ebbro 350R:
Here's the advertised, suggested design on the box:

And this is the crap I made:

I know its fugly and its partly due to my stupidity...I wasn't supposed to remove the outer plastic protection before I spray painted the inside...although its not horrible, the outside of the shell isn't shiny like everyone else's...and it has this dusty feel to it since micro droplets of paint dust from the spray paint has settled onto the outside...
Oh well...I'll get another shell soon..this time an Evo...and I'll make sure I'll do a damn good job...
