Well...NDP has come and gone. Didn't do much on Sunday..just worked from 12 to 4pm (pathetic 4 hours = $20 + OT), then I headed home to laze around and watch the parade. This year's parade was a little more interesting than last year's especially with those giant grid boxes...lol. It must have been so tiring for the performers to climb up and down the ladders over a hundred times.I might have to transfer to a quieter outlet soon because my hours have really been cut down. I've only clocked 10 hours this week and to make things worse, the manager keeps bringing in full timers so she can kick out part timers. The operating hours for the Orchard outlet have also been revised to close an hour earlier because of poor sales. Damn you Botak Jones. Actually its damn you Bernie Utchenik (the owner).
Hazzy has been thinking of finding a new job too..and I might just tag along because I could really use better pay. $7/hr at Kinokuniya: Carry books around, tidy up books, recommend books, work in air-con. Who doesn't want that? The only problem is that its really difficult to find another job which is as flexible as Botak Jones.
I'm taking the Monday Public Holiday slowly...I really want to relax and get back my energy before I have to dive into all that project work again. After lunch I'm going to cycle to Toa Payoh Central to buy a stack of blank CDs and then I'm going to really slack at home and just watch movies or TV shows. 3.30pm, I head off to Orchard to pass a CD to a colleague and then go over to Serangoon to pick up my sweetheart from work =)
