Sweetheart and I watched Julie & Julia today!! Interesting movie, but unfortunately it wasn't as entertaining as we thought it would be. We found ourselves yawning halfway through the movie...hahaha. It's basically about how a woman struggles to cope with her life with the help of an older woman through a cookbook.

And we did a little shopping before the movie too =) She bought a pair of gorgeous black Bebe flip flops and took home a red Levi's watch worth $100+ too!! I myself bought a light pink Levi's T shirt and a black pair of Levi's flip flops too. My old white Havaianas (3 years old) can barely be qualified as white now. It has an old greyish-yellow look from all the wear and tear and dust. Time for a change!!

Back home, I waited for my mum to finish her dinner before bringing out her birthday cake. A quick celebration of singing the traditional happy birthday song and making a wish was performed. 50 years old...getting old already.
