What a fantastic awesome bestest of the best birthday celebration EVER!!! =D

Where to start, where to start, where to start? Wow...there were too many wonderful events today and I don't know which to begin with.

Okay, first of all, I started out at 9.15am this morning. I drove down to MDIS to pass baby her very important projects so she could hand it in on time. We then headed down Vivo for lunch, and at the carpark baby made me open my present. And,

WOWWWWWWWWW!!!

It was a Guess watch!! =D

I was so happy!! It's a really beautiful watch...I don't have the photos of it right now, but I do have a picture of it which I took from a website:

Photobucket

Don't anybody dare say that this is ugly or anything. This is a beautiful watch and I'm going to treasure it and wear it every opportunity I can!! =D

Alright!! So the next thing after lunch was another surprise. I was ordered to wait at Best Denki while baby went to get my second surprise. And when she came back, guess what she had in her hand?

TWO GV GOLD CLASS TICKETS TO NEW MOON!!!

I was so shocked!! I didn't expect anything like this at all!!!!!!!

My eyes were already goldfish big when I saw the Guess watch and now they were bulging out again at the sight of those tickets...hahaha. Those tickets aren't exactly cheap okay? THANK YOU SO MUCH!! =)

We had some time to kill before the movie started so we took a walk around Vivo and we wanted to buy a yellow rose but all the pathetic shop had were sunflowers. =.= Both of us were a little disappointed but as soon as we stepped into the Gold Class lounge, we were all smiles again!!

It was really classy...there were plenty of comfortable seats for people to just sit and have a drink before the movie, there was a bar with a large variety of alcohol and very exclusive toilets filled with flowers and all that kind of stuff.

The seats in the movie hall were fabulous as well. Once my backside touched the soft cushion, I felt like I never wanted to get up ever again...hahaha. For the first few minutes we just kept "Wahhh-ing" at everything we saw...LOL. Took some photos, read the menu (the food and drinks are very expensive by the way) and played around with the chair. The movie itself was pretty good but it was a little draggy for me. The comfortable seats however made everything seem like heaven. Even if we watched a boring movie, we could just simply fall asleep under our blankets to pass the time...hahaha!!

Alright!! Next stop after Vivo was Sentosa!! Entrance fee was around $6 and I wasted $3 on parking fees because I parked at the wrong car park. =( Anyway, we managed to get to The Underwater World relatively okay under the annoying rain. The rain was such a mood killer la...hais. We got our tickets at $16 each and slowly walked around the exhibition, looking at all kinds of fish and sea animals. It was really cool to see all of them up close and I even touched a couple of fish!! =) Another turn off was because there seemed to be an usually large number of Indians touring the place as well. Not Singaporean Indians but Indian Indians. Must have been a tour group or something.

A visit to Dolphin Lagoon was also in the original plan but the stupid rain cancelled the show. But baby had a back up plan just in case something like this happens. =) We drove up to Imbiah area and we took a ride on the Tiger Sky Tower!! =)
If you've been on the Flyer and you like it, you should definitely give this ride a try as well. In terms of height, this tower is much much much higher up than the Flyer. In fact it's the highest point of view in Singapore!! Of course that's adding the height of the hill with the height of the tower. The ride was only a few minutes long but we managed to take a few snapshots of the view. =)

What next then? A long traffic jammed ride to Orchard Tangs to have dinner was the next part. Baby was really looking forward to bringing me to this place in Tangs that had a great ambience. But guess what? After a long ride, (with our stomachs growling) we weren't allowed in to Tangs because we weren't Singtel customers =.=
Apparently Tangs was only open for a private shopping event and only Singtel customers were allowed in. My house phone line is Singtel what. Why cannot go in? -_-" I should have told them that when we were refused entry.

Naturally baby got really upset but we decided to go over to Ion to have dinner instead. We were starving by now!! We quickly decided on Xin Wang Cafe and we ordered quite alot of food. We had Siew Mai, French Toast, chicken wings, Century Egg Congee and Eel Congee. We were walloping the food like crazy but there was this couple next to us who came in after us and they managed to leave before us.

Finally, like every other traditional birthday all over the world, a cake has to be involved. Baby bought a small heart shaped cake with a single candle and a "Happy Birthday" sign from BreadTalk and we had a quiet but lovely traditional celebration. =) I made 3 wishes and I hope all of them come true!!

This is the best birthday celebration I have ever had in my life. Thank you so very much for this whole day baby!! =)

I'm tired already...and it's Xin Yi's birthday tomorrow, so let me pass on the message: Happy Birthday to you too!!

P.S: I want to grow old with you too. =)

I love you.
