Today is an important day. Actually it was yesterday, since it's past 12am. My FYP was put up for exhibition along side everyone else. Nothing special about that, but my group and a few others from other divisions were selected to go for an elimination round. An internal panel f judges from NP will go around and determine if our project was good enough to be judged by IES (Insititue of Engineers Singapore). The first round eliminated everyone except my group and 2 others. And all the groups were from Bio-Medical Applications. I'm so proud. The 3 groups are Vertical Lumbar Traction Unit (to relieve back pain), Single Leg Balance Exerciser (Train leg injuries) and Slider Board (Ours...to move a patient from a wheelchair to a car or bed). Then the 2nd round of judging was by IES judges themselves. 2 old men arrived and the Lumbar group presented first, followed by us. Then they had to go to another room to see the Single Leg Balance group because their project was too big to be carried around. But when we were packing up, one of my group members peeked at one of the judges scoresheet. And we got 75/100 while the Lumbar group got 68/100!! So happy!! That definitely means at least a Bronze prize for us!! YAY!!! All our hard work is finally paying off. It's been so long since I've felt so happy like this....hehehehe.

Gonna go celebrate by watching Finding Nemo. HAHAHAHAHAH!!! I love that movie.

Love you my precious Esther :) Sleep tight!!
